Sarissa buildings....

bought a load of the city buildings and painted them with teracotta Dulux tester pots, black wash and rubbed in grey pastel before a spray of matt varnish.
I will get some setup for photographing large items but heres one on a shelf......with a gallows and JD mini/hipflask on top. Just for an idea of how it turned out.

I have also been painting wild west stuff for Dead mans hand but some items like this church may make it into my zombapocalypse....

Sarissa make some lovely kits and as a novice building painter Im not doing them justice.
Heres a better shot of the townhouse to illustrate both the lovely detail and lack of skill.
Anyhoo, back to painting not SG1 and a few more walkers/zeds/differently alive.

  2. They are lovely and I WILL try to get better pics. They are simple to assemble and take paint very well without losing the etched lines. I got a western town from Battleflag and a city deal from Sarissa plus the warehouse for my birthday. The warehouse was missing a bit and they sent me a second as a replacement instead of the staircase I was missing. Awesome customer service, so now I have two warehouses. This building in particular I see being used as a base for my survivors for an future games.

  3. I have not attempted interiors yet but inspired by Vampifans buildings I am sourcing dolls house wallpaper and have an order in with Frontline for resin furnishings.

  5. They look great JP. The Church will fit in well. Not sure on who or what building maker to go with yet I like 4 ground stuff as well as sarrissa's. Its a lot of cash to sink in and I keep trying to convince myself to make the plunge.
